Polygon --> Binance Smart Chain (xPollinate)

Learn how to bridge Polygon tokens to BSC with xPollinate in this tutorial.

Tutorial Assumptions

Even though the steps in this tutorial will generally apply universally, this tutorial will assume you have a MetaMask wallet set up with both the Polygon and BSC networks. Before you start, also be sure you have at least 1 MATIC in your Polygon wallet.

Bridging Polygon --> BSC

  1. Navigate to the xPollinate cross-chain bridge in your browser. The link provided should take you directly to the Polygon --> BSC bridge option.

  2. Check the Available Liquidity, shown below. The available liquidity should always be more than the amount you'd like to transfer.

3. If xPollinate has enough liquidity, you must now convert your Polygon token(s) into a stable coin such as USDC, USDT, or DAI. How you choose to do so is up to you. We recommend using either QuickSwap or 1inch. You can find a step-by-step tutorial on how to swap with 1Inch here.

If you're following this tutorial to ultimately bridge tokens to the MoonRiver network, be sure to swap your token(s) for DAI or USDT. USDC is not supported.

4. Once you have a stable coin to transfer, go back to xPollinate and specify the amount of stable coin you'd like to transfer ensuring you've connected your wallet and selected Polygon --> BSC.

xPollinate will charge you a 0.05 % fee to transfer tokens.

5. Click Swap, approve the transaction and xPollinate will initiate the transfer. If all goes well, after a few minutes, you will be prompted to access the transfer.

6. When prompted, click the Sign to claim Transfer button and sign the transaction.

7. If all goes as planned, your transaction will complete and you will now have your stable coin in your BSC wallet!
